Basic Classes – Tuesdays

Puppy Foundation Class, Time 5.00 pm – 5.45 pm

All of the basic exercises are covered in this class to start you off with your puppy. These include:

  • Sit
  • Down
  • Recalls
  • Basic retrieves
  • Lead walking
  • Feeding
  • Grooming
  • Socialisation
  • Bite inhibition

Intermediates Class Time 6.00pm – 6.45 pm

We move on a little bit from the basics and start introducing:

  • Distracted recalls
  • Retrieves
  • Off lead work
  • Types of food
  • Stays
  • Tricks
  • Food manners

Each week good use is also made of everything previously learnt in the Beginners class.

Advanced Class Time 7.00pm – 7.45 pm
The Clever Clogs Class!

Everything is now a little more advanced, however, we still take into consideration the ability of each dog and what they have already learnt and achieved.

We now start to introduce:

  • Off- lead work using different paces
  • Scent
  • Distracted Recalls
  • Retrieving different articles
  • Agility circuits
  • Food Toys
  • Emergency stop
  • Temptation alley

… and anything else we can think of!

Two or three times a year, we also include the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme awards which have become very popular. Take a look at our gallery to see pictures of the test nights and our dogs who have already achieved awards.

Intermediates Class – 3.30 – 4.15, Wednesdays 

The same content as the Intermediates Class on a Tuesday.

Advanced Class – 4.00 – 4.30, Thursdays

The same content as the Advanced Class on a Tuesday.

 

Competitive Obedience Class – 4.30 – 5.30, Wednesdays

Ever thought of competing at an obedience show?  This class takes all abilities and we will guide you through the exercises required to compete at a Beginners level, right through to Championship level.
